The Greater
Cincinnati Insurance Association was
founded on August 7, 1963. Originally known as the Greater Cincinnati
Independent Insurance Agents Association, the name was changed this
year to better reflect the demographics of our members. The
organization is made up of agents, company personnel, and vendors. We
provide a forum for the exchange of ideas, fellowship among members,
and the undertaking of insurance related projects. Interesting and
useful information is provided through a wide variety of guest
speakers, such as Congressman Steve Chabot, Judge Patrick Dinkelacker,
past and present insurance commissioners, and various insurance company
executives. Other topics include marketing, automation, agency
perpetuation, insurance fraud, and E & O concerns. Also, since
we
are a non-profit organization, we offer CE seminars at our cost, and,
at times, even for free.
Currently our
organization meets the second
Wednesday of each month at Quality Inn, Norwood for a luncheon. We now
offer two dues structures. Individual membership is only $45 a year, or
you can have a company membership for only $85 a year. The company
membership allows anyone in your company to attend our meetings and you
do not have to designate a particular person as the member. This allows
you to send different people to the meetings depending on the subject
matter.
If you would
like more information or are
interested in our organization, we invite you to a luncheon to see what
we are all about.
